VR in the field of tourism

The project is co-funded by EU through the Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme

VR (Virtual Reality) is a technology that allows users to experience a virtual environment that simulates the real world. In the field of tourism, VR is used to improve the way travelers experience destinations.

Travelers can use VR devices such as glasses or headsets to move into the virtual world and feel as if they are physically present in a certain place. This allows them to know in advance what awaits them at the destination, to prepare the trip and to have a fun experience during the trip.

The use of VR in tourism is also a more environmentally friendly option as travelers do not have to travel physically to the destination. This is especially useful in cases where the trip requires a long journey by plane or other means of transport.

VR technology can be useful for people with disabilities or other limitations that make it difficult for them to travel. By using VR, these individuals can experience destinations that are otherwise inaccessible to them while avoiding physical limitations.
