Photo club “Leskovac” was founded in 1944 with the aim of educating young people and promoting photography as art and culture. The club has excellent cooperation with organizations from Serbia and abroad, and during its seven decades of existence, it has realized a large number of international and author’s photo exhibitions, projects in the field of photography as art, promotion of culture and preservation of cultural heritage. The club organizes the educational program “Photography School” for young people, seminars and forums for interested citizens, thus providing an opportunity for everyone to get acquainted with contemporary photography in Serbia and the world. The club also runs the International Cooperation Program and organizes the Summit of Photographers of the former Yugoslavia, which is one of the most important international events in the Balkans.
