Leskovac Cultural Center (LKC) is a cultural institution in Leskovac that organizes programs in the fields of culture and art. He is the founder of significant events such as “October Art Salon”, “May Art Salon”, “Vlasina Art Colony”, “Festival of Amateur Theater Direction – FAPOR”, “International Festival and Summer Academy of Music – Strings”, “Festival of Stage Miniatures”. , “Summit of ex-Jugoslavia photographers”, series of forums “U krupnom planu”, magazine “Our Creation” and others. The most important manifestation that he organizes is the Leskovac International Festival of Film Directing “LIFFE”, which is held every year in September, and gathers the most important creators from the world of film from the territory of the former Yugoslavia. The ensemble of folk dances and songs “Abrašević”, an acting school, a drawing and painting school and a music workshop work within the LKC. In recent years, the LKC has been one of the most respectable cultural institutions in the area, and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia allocated significant funds for the reconstruction and adaptation of the space in the LKC.
